For purposes other than bylines I go by Jennifer Kennedy. I was born in Auckland, New Zealand. I moved to Alberta, Canada as a child, and currently live in Strathcona County just east of Edmonton. My home is in the Beaver Hills, which is by nature a mix of wetlands and forest, on Treaty 6 territory. I write mostly science fiction and fantasy, or things that fall broadly into the category of speculative fiction and poetry. I am also a storyteller and longtime volunteer with Storytelling Alberta.
